Constructed in 1889 using locally quarried sandstone.  Originally the telegraph office between Launceston and Hobart.  Now a fully licenced Post Office that also stocks stationary, gifts and souvenirs.  Bookings for various  meeting rooms and the Town Hall are made here.  Banking and Eftpos facilities available here.
